Adventure Overview
Xunantunich is an Ancient Maya archaeological site in western Belize in the Cayo District. It served as a Maya civic ceremonial centre to the Belize Valley region in the Terminal Classic periods. At that time, when the region was at its peak, approximately 200,000 people lived in the Belize Valley. This is followed by lunch & then off to the cave tubing entrance. The cave system is full of limestone & crystal formations where the Mayan people once worshipped.
