Welcome to Neptune's Cove Belize Tours. By browsing our website (neptunescovebelize.com), submitting an adventure inquiry through our contact forms, reserving a tour, or boarding our vessels, you acknowledge and agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using this website or booking excursions with our operations. Any person completing a booking on behalf of a group or family certifies that they possess legal authority to bind all participants in their party to these terms.

3. Reservations, Rates & Deposit Policies
All tour rates listed on this website are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). We provide flexible payment options to secure your boat and crew:
- 50% Reservation Deposit: Guests may secure their vessel and preferred tour date by paying a 50% deposit online via PayPal or credit/debit card. The remaining 50% balance is settled upon dock check-in in San Pedro prior to departure (payable in USD cash, BZD cash, or card).
- 100% Full Prepayment: Guests may optionally elect to pay the entire 100% balance during online checkout for zero payment due on the day of their excursion.
- Add-on Services: Selected extra services (such as equipment rentals, beach BBQ upgrades, ceviche platters, or resort dock pickups) are itemized clearly on your booking voucher.
Upon successful deposit capture, an automated booking confirmation containing your departure time, dock meeting instructions, and trip details is generated and transmitted to your registered email address.
4. Belize Marine Park & Conservation Fees
To protect our world-heritage coral reefs, the Belize Fisheries Department and National Protected Areas System mandate entrance wristbands for protected marine reserves:
A government conservation fee of $15.00 USD per person is required for entry into Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, and Mexico Rocks. These fees are collected on behalf of park rangers and directly fund biological monitoring, marine ranger patrols, and barrier reef preservation.
Marine park fees may be settled directly with your captain or dock coordinator in cash upon check-in unless explicitly indicated as included in your private charter package.
5. Cancellation, Rebooking & Weather Refund Policies
You may cancel your booking at any time; however, you must communicate the cancellation in writing (via email to toursncb@gmail.com or via WhatsApp). Cancellation charges apply as shown below from the day we receive the written notice:
7. Belize Barrier Reef Conservation & Wildlife Etiquette
The Belize Barrier Reef is the largest living barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To ensure its protection:
- Zero Touch Rule: Standing on, kicking, touching, or harvesting living coral is strictly prohibited under Belize law and carries severe statutory fines.
- Wildlife Respect: Harassing, pursuing, riding, or holding nurse sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, or manatees is prohibited. Snorkelers and divers must maintain respectful observer distance.
- Reef-Safe Sunscreen: Guests are strongly encouraged to wear mineral-based (zinc oxide / titanium dioxide) reef-safe sunscreen or UV protective rashguards to safeguard delicate corals.
8. Passenger Health, Swimming & Scuba Diving Requirements
Participation in aquatic adventures requires a baseline level of physical fitness and health awareness:
- Certified Scuba Divers: Must present a valid certification card (C-card) from PADI, NAUI, SSI, or an equivalent recognized agency prior to equipment issue. Divers must complete a standard PADI Medical Statement. If any medical condition applies, a physician's written clearance is mandatory.
- Flying After Diving: Per international hyperbaric safety guidelines, divers must allow a minimum of 18 to 24 hours between their last scuba dive and domestic or international flights.
- Medical Disclosures: Guests with cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, recent surgeries, or pregnancy must inform our team prior to booking so suitable accommodations or advice can be provided.
9. Maritime Risk & Liability Waiver
Marine activities including boating, open-ocean swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and scuba diving carry inherent natural risks, including unpredictable sea states, tides, currents, changing weather, and encounters with marine organisms.
While Neptune's Cove Belize Tours maintains comprehensive commercial maritime insurance, adheres to strict BTB safety requirements, and equips all vessels with first-aid, emergency oxygen, and marine VHF radios, guests participate voluntarily and assume standard inherent risks associated with maritime excursions. Prior to vessel boarding, each adult guest (or legal guardian for minors) is required to sign our standard Belize Tourism Board Passenger Manifest & Liability Release.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any contractual agreements for tour services shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of Belize. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to services rendered by Neptune's Cove Belize Tours shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belize, seated in the judicial district of Ambergris Caye.
